But not everyone was so lucky. OC ANNUAL contributor POPPY DE VILLENEUVE didn’t hear from her friend Michelle, a resident of New York’s Rockaway Beach, until three days after the storm had hit. Armed with a camera, she and Alex Braverman traveled to the neighborhood to document the damage in this moving short film.
